After graduating from the Production Department of the Moscow Art Theatre School Sergey Skornetsky worked as a lighting designer at the Oleg Tabakov Theatre and later in many other Russian and foreign theatres.
As a designer he produced The Cruel Dances, Lessons on Tangoand Love, Calendar Girls, Gogol-Café, On the Trunks to mention but a few.
Among his latest works are the following new productions: The Buddenbrooks at the Russian Academic Youth Theatre and Talents and Admirers at the Vladimir Mayakovsky Theatre of Moscow.
