Ekaterina Maklyarskaya

 

She graduated from the Piano Department of the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory of Moscow in 1992 and completed her post-graduate studies in 1994. In 1995, she joined the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow as an accompanist. Here she works on almost all the repertoire of the theatre, prepares and performs concert programmes with the Novaya Opera’s soloists and takes part in the Novaya Opera’s tours in Russia and abroad,.

She has taken part in the following chamber concerts in the Mirror Foyer: Vocal Music of Russian Composers, An Evening of Russian Romances, Wagner and his Contemporaries, Rossini and the French, Romances to Alexander Pushkin's Poems and the Sviridov Age Vocal Music Festival. She has prepared and performed a number of chamber music programmes: Film Music, The New Year Firework, recitals of Alexandra Saulskaya-Shulyatieva (Spain is my Love), Vladimir Kudashev (All Men Surrender to Love’s Power…) and Margarita Nekrasova (The Story of a Soul). Ekaterina participates in the theatre’s concerts at MIPAC, the State Darwin Museum, and the Glinka National Museum of Music Culture.

As an accompanist, Ms. Maklyarskaya took part in vocal competitions in Toulouse (France) and Barcelona (Spain),in international music festivals including Sacro Art in Germany, the Musical Kremlin in Moscow and others.

  • Certificate of Honour of the Russian Culture Ministry “For great contribution to the development of culture” (2012)
  • Best Accompanist diploma at the 10th Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow (1994)
