Graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in 2003 and completed her post-graduate studies there in 2008.In 2000–2011, she worked at the Wood-Winds and Percussion Department of the Moscow Conservatory (2000–2011). Between 2006 and 2009 she was an accompanist at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. In 2002, she became an accompanist at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Centre. In 2016 she joined the Novaya Opera Theatre. She has prepared and played the Italian Songs: Part 1 chamber concert in the Mirror Foyer and participated in the Italian Songs: Part 3 concert. She takes part in the theatre's concerts in the Darwin State Museum.
She took part in master classes given by Vishnevskaya, Rostropovich, Meta, Aliasen, O’Neal, and Berganza.
With the Opera Singing Centre she participated in tours in Georgia (2006),the May Opera Evenings International Festival (Skopje, Macedonia, 2006),the New Itinerants International Festival (Russia, 2006),a concert of soloists of the Opera Singing Centre and the Rostropovich Foundation scholars in Washington (USA, 2008),the Russian Culture Festival in Bulgaria (2008),the Russian Culture Festival in South Africa (RSA, 2009), This a People’s War International Project dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War (Moscow – Gdań – Berlin – St. Petersburg, 2010); the Bartok Plus International Opera Festival (Hungary, 2011),the Mstislav Rostropovich Week International Festival (Moscow, 2009, 2010),the Mstislav Rostropovich International Festival (Baku, Azerbaijan, 2014, 2015),the international festival Chamber Opera in Rheinsberg Palace (Germany, 2017).
Anna Sitnikova took part in Le Petit Festival du Theatre (Dubrovnik, Croatia, 2006, 2007),in a production of Strauss’ Le Bourgeois gentilhomme (the Great Hal of the Moscow Conservatory, 2007, conductor Gennady Rozhdestvensky),Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades (the Bolshoi Theatre, 2006, conductor Mikhail Pletnev),Puccini’s Toska (Norway, 2009, conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius),Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta (Norway, 2010, conductor Alexander Vedernikov),Bizet's Carmen (Germany, 2017, conductor Aurélien Bello).
