He first studied at the Victor Popov Academy of Choral Art (2006–2008) and transferred to the Astrakhan State Conservatory to graduate from it in 2011 (Department of Solo Singing and Opera Training, Natalia Tarasova’s class). There he also completed assistantship and internship in 2019.
He was a soloist at the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre (2009–2010),an illustrator in the opera studio at the Astrakhan State Conservatory (since 2012),a soloist of the Astrakhan State Philharmonic Society (2013–2018). In September 2018, Alexander Tyupa became a soloist of the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre.
His repertoire comprises the parts of Lensky (Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin),Young Gypsy (Rachmaninoff’s Aleko) and Vladimir Igorevich (Borodin’s Prince Igor).
