Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes with no intermission
We invite you to explore the opera theatre backstage and participate in a creative workshop. This programme was developed in collaboration with LGEG education centre and is going to be built around a voice control training.
Nervousness and anxiety are familiar to all public speakers. Fear makes one “cocoon”, their voice goes up and becomes impossible to control.
“Everyone has their own natural sound”, – says Sonia Arendt, LGEG Drama teacher. In the workshop, she will share her secret techniques as well as exercises for relaxation and “own voice centre” identification.
You will also learn about:
— what a sound-pitch range is;
— how your body helps you to articulate when speaking;
— how high or low your own voice can sound.
The workshop will take place at New opera theatre foyer and is free of charge. To participate please fill in the registration form.
