The programme comprises Francis Poulenc’s and Gabriel Fauré’s vocal miniatures, Claude Debussy’s refined romances, Francis Lopez’s lively melodies, some cabaret songs by Kurt Weill, wonderful compositions by Georges Bizet, Erik Satie, Henri Duparc and Jules Massenet. And, of course, the favourite French songs: La Vie En Rose by Édith Piaf (which became her signature song),Une vie d'amour by Georges Garvarentz and Charles Aznavour, Les Parapluies de Cherbourg by Michel Legrand, Vladimir Cosma’s music theme from the film The Toy.
Helping the soloists to reproduce the inimitable atmosphere of Paris will be Dmitry Sibirtsev (piano),Alexey Sokolov (accordion),Maxim Gusev (violin) and Sergey Satarov as a French mime.
